Default Fabric CDs

just after getting the global communications fabric release and have to say im a little disappointed with it. howewer to be honest i have been disappointed with all the fabric relaeses i have bought whick include ame, aim, carl craig and steve bug with the bug one actually being the best of a bad bunch.

I have various other mix cds by all these artists and they all seem to be better that their respective fabric releases.

just wondering if anyone else shares my views and if they can recommend any other fabric releases, not gonna buy any more unless i hear there good.

There was a fairly informative thread on this before, a quick search should do the trick.

No harm in having a new one for all the ones released since then too.

I love the Carl Craig one myself. Some great tunes on it especially at the start.

the 'sound effects' ie him grunting and cheering are headwrecking on Carl Craig's one.

I would recommend the following....

for techy & minimal stuff.

Craig Richards,
Tyrant,
Adam Beyer, (Brilliant)
Ellen Alien,
Ivan Smagghe,
Death In Vegas.

And these for more accessible eclectic/breaks/electro/dub
Meat Katie,
James Lavelle,
Evil Nine,
Adam Freeland,
Diplo,
Baby Mammoth, Beige & Solid Doctor,
Tayo (Unreal),
Cut Copy.

It's a fantastic club. Only been there once but it rocked. Only have one Fabric cd, by James Murphy, obscure disco stuff, fairly good to be honest.
