How to record from Decks straight to laptop
Was wondering can anyone tell me how to record from cd decks straight to
laptop. Even the name of the program to do it would be great.
Thanks in advance.

why don't you just rip the CD??
Or do you mean record from the mixer to the laptop?

Sorry, didn't explain it properly. I just want to record a live mix without using
a cd recorder and was wondering could I record it straight to the laptop.

ah right, I use a program called soundforge, but you can get freeware ones like audacity( I think anyway)
What mixer you using?? It should have a record out that you can plug into the mic in on the laptop.

Yeah, just use the record out from that and plug it into the Mic in.
Should be ok. Just make sure and check the levels before you record.
