What sporting result has been the hardest for you to get over?
Robbed this idea from the f365 site.
For me it's a toss up between Ireland vs. spain in 2002. what could have been ha kilbane managed to shot straight from 6 yards.
Ireland-2, Cyprus-5...i've never been so disgusted at an Irish team.
United's loss to Dortmund in the champions league in 97 we were the better team but couldn't put the ball in the net
and Munster's first Heineken Cup final loss.

I know it may not have been the result, but Ayrton Sennas death really got to me at the time, I still haven't got over it to be honest and keep thinking "what might have been."

I'm leaving out results when I was a small kid, because when you're 8 years old every game your team loses is like the end of the world.
Limerick in '96 down the Park was bad. And I was in bad form for days after the 2006 All-Ireland. Any of the thumping defeats by Kerry in All-Ireland semi-finals or finals in the last few years - particularly 2002 and 2006 when we had beaten them earlier that year. But I think the worst was the 2000 All-Ireland Semi-Final loss to Offaly, simply because it seemed to come completely out of the blue. Nothing worse than losing a game you took for granted.
I haven't got really badly upset over a soccer result in ages. 2002 World Cup was the last time, I suppose.

Italy 3 Brazil 2 spain 82 world cup. i was 8 and its the first time i remember crying. i still have an intense dislike of Paulo Rossi and Italian football in general.
Seeing Milan concede 3 goals to Liverpool and loose on penalties.
Honestly thought that it was pure Roy of the Rovers stuff while I was watching it and was delighted to see such drama but within 10 minutes I was reminded of why I hated Liverpool fans as a young un, people say Man U fans are hard to stomach but bike robing scouser scum sucking Liverpool fans take the complete biscuit, they had to rub it in everyones face assuming that the rest of us follow another Premier League team and therefore must be a rival.
Cunts, the lot of em, stick your 5 times up yer arse.

I see your still having trouble in getting over it
