The Danish collective’s second album, Parades, which was released late in 2007, featured in a lot of year-end round ups, including the following:
Mojo’s Top 50 – No. 23,
The Organ Album of the Year,
The Milkfactory’s Top 20 Albums Of The Year – No. 11,
Gigwise’s Top 50 – No. 38.

A video for ‘Illuminant’, taken from Parades, can now be found on YouTube. The beautiful but very strange video was made by Tobias Stretch. You can find a higher resolution video on Stretch’s website as well as his other work. The video has also been featuring regularly on ORGAN TV.

It has also been announced that Efterklang have been nominated for 5 Danish Music Awards! The awards ceremony, to be held in February, will include Efterklang in the categories for best group, best album, best electronica album, best artwork and best video.

And finally, the band have been confirmed to play at this year’s Roskilde Festival in their native country. This will be their second appearance at the world-renowned event and takes place between Thursday 3 - Sunday 6 July. More from www.myspace.com/efterklang or www.efterklang.net

A few of my mates went to the Dublin gig. Seemed a bit dissapointed by it. Sounded too much like a CD playing, tis what they said.
