Wink The official "Rio is sh*te" thread

Despite being perennially involved in defences with fine records for goals conceded for club and country and that both seem to collapse defensively without him.

Rio is sh*te.

Lamps' hero Rod Liddle's line from the weekend about how he'd prefer Jack Charlton?!

If they had one decent goalkeeper they'd be on their way to Austria.

What do you think you're in, Quantum Leap?

Teams with Rio in them tend to be both successful and defensively sound.

I'm with Kola on this one. Rio wouldnt exactly be my favourite player in the world but barring a spell in the autumn of '05, United have been excellent at the back with him in the side & England have never conceded that much either.

On England's defence, they were without the 5 guys who were 1st choice at the start of the campaign in Robinson, Neville, Rio, Terry & Cole. The bookies decided to ignore this & had Croatia at 7/1 to win last night.

So basically Ronny their whole defence was out, but Pubes is claiming it was cos Rio was out.

Rio's drug ban was the secret to the "invincibles" winning the league that season.

List out what Rio has won there like a good lad.

By my reckoning he's almost 30 and has a couple of titles and a league cup?

Off with you and produce this list.
