Default music resources

i'm, like a lot of people on this forum, constantly looking for new music. i was just wondering what resources ye use to find new stuff. amazon n pitchfork are the only two i've found good(and here obviously). bin checking hypem.com recently and its not too bad.

any suggestions?

You could try LastFM - it keeps track of what you listen to and them matches you with what it thinks is similar.

Haven't used it much myself but its supposed to be pretty good.

ya checked out last fm and pandora aswell, they're good enough, the thing is there's no particular genre im in to so its kinda hard with sites like that to find new stuff. im into everything, as long as its good! hard to find good new stuff without reliable reviews,i'll have to stick to pitchfork i suppose

Last FM is decent. Tell it what you like and what you dont using the toggles on the player (sign up first obviously, no need for the paid service though).
It will definitely throw up new stuff for you. It keeps a record as well of what you said you'd liked so you can review later before you go shopping to buy new music.

It also allows you to ban stuff from your player (very handy when it throws up the likes of Belle and S-o bad I wanted to find and kill a student -ian).
