Default Delaney wont like that

Fans make “black shirt” protest plea

September 17, 2007

Irish football fans have been urged to wear black for the next Euro 2008 qualifier against Germany at Croke Park as a means of voicing their dissatisfaction with the management team and the FAI.

The Republic of Ireland’s hopes of reaching next summer’s finals in Austria and Switzerland are effectively over with three games to go following last week’s defeat in the Czech Republic.

The FAI has stated its commitment to manager Steve Staunton but many fans remain unconvinced by the Louth man’s capacity to deliver the improvement necessary to make the boys in green competitive in the next World Cup qualification campaign.

Eighty per cent of voters on the latest eleven-a-side.com poll believe Stan should be sacked for his side’s Euro failure – and supporters posting messages on some internet forums have suggested wearing black to the game against Germany next month.

Have you ever heard such shite inyour life? If you dont like it, dont go!

A lot of Irish soccer fans are fucking muppets of the highest order, and many of them routinely boo their own players at home games, including the one or two top class players we have had

I agree with their sentiments about Delaney but you are right, they should not go

Exclamation

What we need is an FC Ireland thing to get going. We could play our games in the Phoneix Park and everything

I'd be willing to lead it but I'm busy. Who's with me?

Stan can't be blamied he is in way over his head here, it's the muppet Delaney that should go. As for booing yer own players, that is just stupid, why pay the money to go and see a game only to boo a player, that won't help anyone. The black shirt idea sounds not to bad to be honest.
