Cacapa who has captained Lyon during their last five french league winning seasons is due to sing on at Newcastle.

doubt they need any singers tbh unless they plan on having some kind of half-time entertainment, they could do with a CB though

was very impressed with psg last weekend, look to have some good youngsters but most importantly le guen starts his first full season in charge.

lyon are incredibly skinny considering the players who have left and are leaving the club, coupled with suspect happiness among some of the players and most recently the injury to coupet.

marseille are best priced 6s i think but they are a bit flaky for my liking and losing ribery dont think they have enough firepower up front.

saw psg at 16s last week but think thats only available now on betfair, nevertheless i have put a few euro on the double psg to win ligue1 (14s) and rangers to win the SPL (11/10).

PSG could only draw 0-0 at home to Sochaux yesterday. Lyon currently 2-0 up against Auxerre at the mo ..Only 10 mins left.

Lots of 0-0's and 1-0's on the opening weekend.

Anyone backing PSG to win the championat is clearly mentally deranged, and you can quote me on that.

Laying Lyon would probably be the safer option but even that might be doomed to failure.
