Default System Exclusive + Kevin Blake(Electric Underground) @ Electric Underground July 27th

Electric Underground

Liquid Lounge
10:00 pm - 2:00 am
Admission €7

SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE BIO:

Music has always been a key part in the life of Rob Glennon aka System Exclusive.
From a very early age he caught the musical bug, listening to the likes of jimi hendrix, eric clapton, pink floyd, led zepplin
and the beatles on his parents 12"s.This consequently led to guitar lessons at the age of eight, which lasted
until he first found dance music and decided to disregard his original passion in favour of the strange and hypnotic sounds of house and
techno.

Fast forward now to 1998 and the introduction to a previously unknown computer program called "Rebirth".This was to
set the course for the next few years, sparking an interst in music production and prompting Rob to enroll in a sound
engineering course in Pulse Recording Studios in Dublin.Having completed the course and having learnt valuable knowledge
regarding production and recording, Rob then spent the next few years buying various pieces of music equipment and a
multitude of records to experiment with and analyze.

Then in january 2007 when a computer glitch wiped out his pc,Rob decided out of boredom and complete lack of musc software
to put some music up on myspace, to see what would happen. This glitch proved a blessing in disguise as within weeks Rob had
been booked for a live set with Electric Underground in Cork and had his first radio play by well known Irish producer
Mick Chillage on xfm dublin, who's audience extends all over the globe.

Rob now looks forward to the next few years as a challenge to further his style and production abilities and with an imminent
12" release on Static Recordings things are shaping up nicely.

Support on the night will be provided by Limerick ex-pat Kevin Blake. He's been honing his electro-acoustic set for some time now and the results are clearly audible. Having made his first foray into playing live in February at the first Electric Underground, Blake has since managed to support such luminaries as Tinoras, Foreign Bodies, Jezery, Mojo Fury, Le Bien, Mark O'Connor, 65 Days Of Static and Max Tundra. This is his first time playing live in over two months and there should be some new cracking compositions on offer!
