Ya I had a look at it and to be fair it does look class. Haven't got around to booking anything yet as we're still trying to sort numbers and see when suits people etc

went to whistler in feb and im still smiling.. unfuckinbeleivable spot and the snowfall every night was more than most european resorts get in a week

ive been to livigno, borovetz, st moritz, st anton, obertauern and mayerhoffen and it leaves them all in its wake.. only thing is the expense.. the lift pass is around 45 euro a day and the flights will be around the 800 mark

Good stuff! Can I pick your brains for a while?

I've only been 3 times taking in Livigno, Vigo and (weirdly enough) Are in Sweden! I'm tackling the odd black now at this stage and am confident enough.I will also be booking for a group this coming Winter.

I hear great things about St. Anton but I'm worried that it might be a bit tough as our group would encompass some total beginners. What do you reckon?

youll be fine in st anton.. the ski area is huge so it takes in all levels no bother, in fact it has some unbeleivably long (10k ish) and enjoyable red/blue runs that are perfect for every level- i had tears streaming down my face through the goggles also, your ski pass covers zurs and lech, 10 mins free bus ride away, which is another really nice resort with heated chair lifts!

to sum up st anton

pros:
1hr transfer from airport
huge ski area
top quality equipment (lifts etc)
excellent off piste
pistes are immaculately kept

cons:
expensive
night life is dead
get accomodation in the very centre - nasty steep icy hills otherwise!

Great stuff! Thanks for the info.

We went to Vigo in Italy last year and there was zero nightlife. I'm trying to decide between St Anton and Ischgl. If the lads dont get out at night this year, I'm toast!
