Default Fucking Hell

Getafe produced a stunning performance to beat Barcelona 4-0 to progress to the Copa del Rey final 6-5 on aggregate.

Bernd Schuster's side faced an uphill battle to reach the final after their 5-2 defeat at Camp Nou in the first leg, but they conjured up a memorable performance to end Barcelona's dreams of the league and cup double.

Getafe broke the deadlock on 37 minutes when Francisco Javier Casquero volleyed home from the edge of the box.

The home side grabbed a second goal two minutes from time when a mistake by Gianluca Zambrotta allowed Dani Guiza to score.

Angel Vivar Dorado added a third on 70 minutes when he headed home from close-range.

Getafe went in front in the tie with a fourth goal on 73 minutes when Guiza raced through to rifle home.

Barcelona threw everything into attack in the closing stages in a bid to get back into the game, but Samuel Eto'o wasted a glorious opening and Javier Saviola had a shot kicked off the line as Getafe held on for a remarkable result.

Getafe will face La Liga and Uefa Cup hopefuls Sevilla in the final which will be their first ever appearance in the final.

Unreal.

What's the story with Schuster going to Madrid . Has he signed a pre- contract with them or was that some media fabrication?

From when i was watching (when it was 2-0) it was mostly a proper Barca side out

Loads of big players, Ronnie, Eto, Zambrotta, etc etc

Incredible result

Could throw the league wide open as Barca could be damaged by this

We could be looking at that amazing La liga/Prem stat i mentioned recently again

Wherever Chelsea win the league it's Barca
Wherever Arsenal win the league it's Arsenal
Wherever United win the league it's Real
