Default Chelsea's quadruple

will suffer a fatal blow tonight.
Valencia have been playing some nice stuff recently and David Villa is on fire - he'll be a good signing for Liverpool.

Great stuff from PSV last night.

Not a pub team at all, at all.

They didn't look good, it has to be said.
They were missing 2 of their best 3 players, though.
We all know that Roma are the pub team left in this competition.

Same pub team who knocked out Lyon in the last round?

While that was a good result, all matches against Lyon must now be considered only after factoring in that Houllier has been there long enough to do damage.
That and the fact that they always shit themselves in the knockout stages.
That being said, Lyon were the better side over the two legs.

I agree as far as the Houllier part goes but to underestimate any team at this stage of the competition and you fall flat on your face.

Remember how we all came to know a certain Mr Mourinho?
Was it Porto & Monaco in the final that year?

I have a sneaky feeling it could be Chelsea's year in the CL. I certainly think the winners of that tie could justifiably be favourites to win it.

Everyone bar PSV must feel they have a good shout....Bayern never give up, Milan have huge experience, while Liverpool and Roma are no mugs either.
I fear we will suffer somewhere along the line from the lack of Vidic's presence in our defence...he has become THE main man in our defensive set-up, and I do not have any faith in the Rio and John O comedy duo.
It's up to Scholesy and Edwin to do it for us I'm afraid.

A Monaco team that already had Morientes in its ranks (CL best goal scorer 3 years ago)...pity he got injured and wont play any part tonight...him and Villa currently are the best attacking pair in the World.

For me Rio has been better so far in '07 than Vidic so Vidic although a big loss it isn't critical if Fergie is brave & moves Heinze in.

The Chelsea V Valencia is a tough one to call.
