Default Opendisc

I bought a CD Saturday and it played in my CD musicplayer, no probs...

So today I decide to burn to mp3 and pop it into my PC drive...
This Opendisc application autostarts...like a builtin media player..so I stop it and try 'exploring' the drive instead,..but I cant see any tracks on the disc.

I try Winamp, Windows Media Player and they cant see any tracks either..
so I fecking cant copy to mp3....

I figure this is some form of new security copying protection.
Anyone ever encounter this or a way to 'crack' the security

Be wide of CDs that come with their own supplied playback software, there was a big debacle lately with Sony CD's which installed 'rootkit' software which left PCs potentially open to hackers/viruses. If it installed anything make sure to get instructions on the safe removal of such software from tinternet and make it so.

AVG do this one (It works as well) and if you do have the misfortune to have sony rootkit hit DO NOT use there rootkit unistaller they were forced to issue - It does more damage than the fucking rootkit!

They are getting hit with a class action in the states due that issue - part of the DRM shit last year....
