So it starts, five friends get together to make music. They hole up in a bunker beneth a warehouse and create their brand of lazy rock 'n' roll which is loose, downbeat and melancholic. Based in London, Sister consist of ex members of the Sultans of Ping and The Young Offenders as well as certain members who served time in Simple Kid's backing band. The band takes its cue from the Marianne Faithfull-assisted highlight of "Sticky Fingers" (Sister Morphine). Sister release their debut single entitled "In My Darkest Hour" on 140db Records.
