Kind of pointless having a first round game and winner and loser go through to next round as is case for knocknagree vs rockchapel. Why not make two extra games preliminary. Second round winners round gone too. Were these changes flagged, voted on? Haven't heard any changes to structures flagged before draws.

Does it mean that win or lose both teams will be in exactly the same position, third round after the game. That's utterly pointless.

As regards the second round winners games, my only guess is they were done away with due to fixture backlogs towards the end of the season, with nothing really at stake in the sense that both teams would still be in Championship into August/September.

Millstreet and glanworth played each other in round 2A last year and it was at the end of august. Disaster.
However if clubs weren't consulted it would be very disappointing to hear as an extra champo game can be beneficial to them.

Well the opening three rounds are not even championship anyway there a relegation tournament.. even though relegation is half gone now. Championship doesn't begin until the knock stages begin, which is usually in late August when the league is already basically finished as well.
