Hi Haro,

The Mic is a ribbon mic. People do use them for micing amps but you have to be careful not to place it too close or if the amp is too loud. Otherwise you might damage the ribbon.

ThrobbingWorm:

The fuzz pedal is a reissue of a 1960's fender fuzz pedal.
It got the normal drive and tone controls and also an extra drive switch which which gives an octave up effect.

I think my bloody valentine and smashing pumpkins used them a bit.
