Default Best Career?

George Weah
Matthias Sammer
Ronaldo
Zinedine Zidane
Rivaldo
Luis Figo
Michael Owen
Pavel Nedved
Andriy Shevchenko
Ronaldinho
Fabio Cannavaro
Kaka

This is a list of every player who won the Balon Dor from the year they opened it to non European players until the Cristiano Ronaldo/Lionel Messi duopoly took over. With the announcement today that Kaka has retired, all of these players are no longer active professionals. My question therefore is, who had the best career? You can go the extra step and put them all in order from best to worst (career). Should make for some good debate.

Great topic. Take out Michael Owen + 1 and run a poll.

Briefly remember Sammer the year he won it . Didn't think he was extraordinary player tbh but maybe others probably have a better memory of it . Weah was great the year he won it .
