Default Flannery out for months

Quote:
Munster hooker Jerry Flannery goes into a Dublin hospital this morning for shoulder surgery that will rule him out of action for a number of months. While its not known exactly how long he will be out of action he will certainly miss Munster's opening Heineken Cup games and the November internationals.

He's a hooker FFS and any time I've seen him play he's looked pretty mobile. He could do with top-level experience though. If he can work on his scrummaging and make sure he's more accurate out of touch then we'll be fine. Remember, Fogarty is only in his early 20s, utter infancy for a front row. He'll get alot better

Seán Cronin. He's an exciting prospect alright. I'm not sure if he's got a Munster dev. contract this year though
