Default McCarthy was Right

Keane was a disgrace last night - not cutting it at international level any more. He was so static yesterday it was frustrating. The good parts are going from his game and he's trying to play like Ronnie Whelan. Keane has had his best games behind him and I know we'd love to see him back to his prime but his passing isn't inventful for the immobile game he plays these days - can't remember his last good game. Consider him written off on the international stage.

Reid didnt even turn up and looks to be found out at a higher level but really cant make that judgement till we see him in 3 or more games

Mick knew that Keane best years were behind him and that he would be better off sticking to his principles than caving in in front of his team. Now Keane has been brilliant for Ireland in the past and I'd love to see him back to his best but really we're just fooling ourselves with that! I'd say Keane would be useful as a semi-assistant manager to Kerr, barking out the orders although I don't think Roy's voice is strong enough from the sidelines and it would be more useful in the dressing room.

so by your thinking, mick said fuck the world cup, what does it matter that we won't have keane, he'll be shit in the european qualifiers anyway so he's no use now!!!!

pull your head out of your ass boy!

as for miller and cahill I don't see the comparison, if cahill had gone to a bigger club in a different league then he wouldn't have been a judas!
