Default Munich- wat to see and do

Anyone been, any must sees or tips?

Tip - go to your nearest library, go tot he travel section, get a lonely planet or equivalent.
Find the Munich section in Germany and read it.


When I was there....
Beerfest - not really on yet though.
Bayern match in Olympic stadium - they dont play there anymore - but new ground is supposedly well worth a visit and 1860 Munich share it so there should be a game on.
The olympic grounds are worth a quick visit - threre is a tall viewing tower there to get the lift up.
The BMW factory is near that.
There is a big and interesting science and the likes museum in town.

That'll do for now.

Learn a bit of German too and dont be going out there speaking a langauage neither ours nor theirs - assuming you are Irish.

Cheers for the tips. But not going to learn German for the sake of 5days! What do you mean neither ours or theirs?
