No he had a hissy fit when Fergie put him in a squad to play a league cup game at Arsenal when he played the previous day against Liverpool in a league game. The game at Arsenal was played a day after the game ay Anfield due to fixture congestion.

I've never been too crazy about Paul Scholes, I've always thought of him as a luxury player.
That's why I'm looking forward to Hargreaves being added to the squad, I've got a lot of time for Hargreaves and think it will give United a lot more control in the years to come.
I see the midfield next year being shared between Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Hargreaves and Ronaldo with Giggs and Scholes each featuring in only about 30 league games.
With Kaka blossoming now at 25, the future is bright for United's Ronaldo and Rooney at 22 and 21 to develop further.... and if those players along with other recent acquisitions can nail a title medal in the coming weeks than the future is looking dazzling!!!
In fact there should be a hell of lot more threads thrown up today to celebrate last night result, ..as in the the coming couple of weeks and years things are going to get very tough for the abu-se

Hargreaves is the most overrated, underskilled, one trick pony of a midfielder that I think I've laid eyes on. Not a creative player, not a destructive player - basically another Carrick except not even as talented as Carrick.

He's just what United need.
He's a good general all round player and will knit things together nicely for United, exerting control over the game, allowing Ronaldo, Rooney etc to do their thing. The best thing about Carrick is his passing game and of this we have much much better to see in the coming years.
