hi, recently have some spare time on my hands and am wondering how/where do i go about getting turntables? waht kinda ones should i get and so forth. before the jokes start im sure girls can DJ just as well if not better than the fellas. any advice appreciated.

You could pick up a set and mixer fairly cheap 2nd hand off the buy and sell or something.

There is always software Dj equipment too...for mixing mp3s to get you started...to see if you do actually have a taste for it
although I know it's frowned upon in these parts.
Djing is just Djing anyway..i don't see what difference it makes...despite not having the lovely vinyl sound.

Traktor is good DJ software
