The amount of obese/grossly overweight people everywhere would suggest that we do not.

I do light work outs at the gym most days. Just maybe 5 or 6 kms on the threadmill. It peobably doesnt make any difference weight wise but my head always feels great afterwards. Great for mental health in my opinion.

Nowhere near enough. Maybe 100 years ago men and women got enough exercise from manual jobs and housework.

Nowadays, not even close. Add that to energy dense foods we consume and you have an epidemic of obesity.

As bill burr said in his London special to the audience “you guys are pretty fat too”

If the clowns walked there, they perhaps would not need to go there in the first instance.
I drive to the gym and regularly burn off 1500-2000 calories in my workouts. So a walk to the gym would also make this doable, along with increasing my strength, conditioning and overall fitness levels, yeah?

So you feel that you would gain absolutely nothing by walking or cycling to the gym?
