The transport industry is more corrupt and more involved in organised crime in than you would think or imagine.
Especially in Cork !

I got it wrong there, lorry travelled from NI and picked up a container that had come to Purfleet from Holland. Ambulance called short time later.

The transport company was owned by an Irish citizen I heard ?

The Irish guy could be just some poor guy intimidated/pressured to sign on ,in paper only , that he runs the company.

A statement from Essex Police said: “Originally, we reported that the lorry had travelled into the country through Holyhead on Saturday October 19.

"After further enquiries, we now believe that the trailer travelled from Zeebrugge into Purfleet, and docked in the Thurrock area shortly after 12.30am this morning."


Keystone cops FFS get the facts before releasing to the media.

The driver is 25 and could well have nothing to do with it.

Anybody who would put people into a refrigerated unit which when locked from
from the outside is hermetically sealed and has no air supply is guilty of mass murder. The people would have quickly died from lack of oxygen

From the TV pictures the lorry stopped and was opened on a roadway in an industrial estate. funny place to open a container??
