Ah the old double down.

Who are real a step down from? They’ve won seven CL’s in the last 21 years. That’s the same amount as AC Milan, the next highest. That’s what Milan have won, in their history.

So, who are 13 times European champions Real a step down from?

There is.

But this is unforgettable.

Real Madrid a step down. The absolute pinnacle of world football. Real Madrid are a step up from anyone else in world football.

Kelleher starting for the Ireland U21s today in the Toulon tournament. Live on Sky Channel 429 at half 2. I'm looking forward to seeing how Stephen Kenny has them playing.

1 nil up on China after 33 seconds - Elbouzedi (Waterford FC) with the goal. Libyan father & Irish mother. The opposition hadn't touched the ball prior to conceding.

Conor Masterson also starting at centre-back.

2-0 nil after 5 mins. Aaron Connolly (...who has 1 appearance for Brighton) with the goal.

Great sign of his mentality that he’s able to play here. Could easily have gone on the batter Saturday and Sunday with the rest of the team but wanted to play
