Default Stall fed Irish beef?

M8s, one of the local discount supermarkets in the fatherland is offering steaks of Irish beef for €3.99 a pop.

It says on the packet that the animals were fed in stalls.

Is there such a thing as stall-fed Irish cattle?

I thought all the beef in Ireland was grass fed?

Can one of the two legged muck savages on here clear this up for me, m8s?

If they're lying in that supermarket, somebody is going to get fucked up.

Is there an issue advertising steak that is actually cooked rather than this raw shite that some believe is fashionable ?

A fashion created by the restaurant business, because otherwise the clentele would be waiting too long for their steaks to be properly cooked.

Apparently farmers were complaining (!) that the bad weather the year before last meant that they had to stall feed their cattle for longer than normal

You were quiet enough for the last few months, Patrick. The level of intellectual debate rivalled ancient Greece.
