Le Pont call chips Pommes Frites.

I'm there.

€30 snots for an 8oz. steak is saucy enough, mind.

Those are Killarney prices.

Where's the place the politiks go? Where Bunny Rabbitte was corned like a rat last week.

I might try to do some lobbying.

Or some glassing.

There are a lot of rockers on the plates in the greenhouse.

In fact, there is way more rock than food.

What about Marco Pierre White's gaff?

Or is that only a brand like Tesco, these days?

Paddy, you know well that I am well versed on public houses all over the world. A fucking martyr if you will.

Pints:

Grogan's South William Street (No telly, no music, excellent pints)
Toner's Baggot Street (A telly but it's usually on mute. Only martyrs holding the Paddy Power dockets and a vacant look on their faces are watching "de horsis, wha'?" Excellent pints)
Mulligan's of Poolbeg Street (Used to be almighty, now just mighty)

Food:

Chez Max - Palace St or Baggot Street. Palace Street (just off Dame Street is better in my opinion). Company credit card ahoy!
Pichet - Trinity Street. More of it.
O'Neill's - Suffolk Street (if carvery for soakage is your bang)
Rick's Burgers - Dame Street. Trust me.

I can keep going if you want.

Overpriced. A bit chainy. Much noisier.

Shanahans and Patrick Gee-bag are other classic options I suppose.

If you're willing to tip out to Ranelagh the steak and burgers in the butcher grill are outstanding although it's a bit pokey for a businessy thing.

Appetiser + Fish + Meat + Dessert €130 ??

I'd dig the fuckin' head off him.

It's on expenses but I'm paying no man €70 for a steak.
