A side-trip up to Helsinore (home of the Hamlet Castle) is also to be recommended. If you like you can take a short ferry trip to Helsinborg in Sweden. You can tell the Swedes from the Danes as they are the ones going over to buy booze in Helsinore.

Cheers for the responses.

As it turns out, I'm going to have less free time than I initially thought. So, as I'll have about half a day to maybe take a tour, and do one thing, what should that one thing be?

christiana i'd say.

SHE spends about 50% of her time in copenhagen (you may or may not wish to refer to it as 'copers').

IMHO, Christina is a waste of time - seedy and smelly.
If you look at my previous post, you could actually do most of that in a half day. If you timed it properly, you might get to see the changing of the guard at the palace.

Heading to Copenhagen in a few weeks for three nights. Any updates? Can you do a harbour trip on a boat? Couldn't give a shit about the mermaid.

What not to do?

What's the deal with ordering chips, Patsy?

I might pop over to Copenhagen myself to get a better look at Nørrebro Bryghus and the Mikkeller Bar.

Christiana is an absolute must see any time of year.

Its a good tour as well around the brewery. Has the biggest bottle collection in the world.

There are far fitter women there than Pamela Pepe.
Seriously though, it's a great city. Not cheap but great. My second favourite smallish city after Amsterdam tbh.
