Really? I'll have to see how much a 3-day ticket costs.
By the way, does the tube keep going 24-7, or what? I might be flying back around 6am on the monday morning.

Surely the art is kinda the most important component of an art gallery though. And it claims to house works by Picasso, Bacon and Monet.

And isn't that Soho place full of gheys

No.

A small number of surface rail lines do run 24/7 (not sure if the Stansted Express is one of them), but generally night-time public transport is provided by buses.

Heading same dates as you then, although we didn't cheap out on the tickets to get the special offer coming back at 6am Monday morn .

Looking to go see a West End show, any recommendations?

No as jd said there are only a few things that operate all the time. Some bus routes are 24 hours some are marked with N like N91. The tube closes at 12.30 on weekends I think, and 11.30 on weekdays. The first tube isnt till after 6 I think, so you would need to get a night bus to lievrpool st.* and get the standsted express ( i think you were flying to/from standsted ).

Some good transport sites: http://www.tfl.gov.uk and www.transportdirect.info

* D'oriel And it's not from King's Cross, it's from Liverpool St.

Stansted express isn't 24-hour.
It starts at 4.20am, I think.
And it's not from King's Cross, it's from Liverpool St.

Get either a night bus or a cab to Liv St and get the Terravision coach to stansted. You can pre-book your tickets online (£7/8 single, i think).
Early trips take under an hour as there's no traffic.

I've often got the 6.20am flight to cork from stansted, and I tend to get the bus at around 3.30am.
