Default ?The Best DJ in Cork?

In your own opinion who is the all round best DJ in cork. No need to get technical, just who is the best at entertaining a crowd, thats what its all about.

ok well ... it is a bit of hard question to answer...
but. leaving musical pref., succesfulness etc all out of the bargain

i think there is a clear gap between the winner/s and the competition

greg and shane are the best dj's in cork, have been for 17 ish years, and out of the 2 i prefer shane's style more....

well, if we're just talking about entertaining a crowd, id imagine stevie g. Just look at the savoy, its full everyweek when he plays, although maybe the savoy crowd aren't going there specificly for him/his music, they don't seem to be getting bored of him or his music. also he has been around for years and climbed the ranks to be one of corks "best" "allround" djs on radio and in the club. Also he can be diverse in his music selection as we've seen with some of his radio shows specifying on different music styles.

Though my personal favourite has to be mr Jeremy Murphy, even if he is living in dublin now, always rocks it any time hes on the decks, never a dull night!

I'd agree with you that stevie is the most entertaining and appeals to everyone if I was having a party he'd be first choice without a doubt. Technically I think Shane Johnson would be top of the pile he would be a match to any of the international djs that come to our city. I'd also have to praise Colm Kennifick, Greg Dowling, Eddie K, Raymond Franklin, Adam Dunbar, Mark Walsh, Carlos, Ian Richards, Ronan C, Adrian Dunlea, Angi and lots more for great nights over the years

one of the best sets ive ever heard by a cork dj was drew in the carpark on the sunday night at about 5am at bass at electric picnic. one of the greatest 2 hours or so of my life.

best dj would have to be shane johnson, has earned his respect over the years and imo is very inspiring
