Good point, our "rape culture" would disappear over night. Nobody gives a shit about an arse after a few spliffs but sure they'd whinge about that too.

Seems like a no brainer.
Essentially the law in Spain is it is 100% legal to grow and smoke behind "the closed doors" of your own home where it does not come into contact with the public.

I was in Torrevieja area last year. Walked in to a club, produced my passport, €10 for a 4 day membership, you get an account and you lodge money (what ever you want) into the account. Go to the lovely counter and pick out what you want and give the lad your membership number the costs are deducted from your account. Nice comfortable place. No alcohol. Soft drinks, coffee, tea etc. By law once you enter you must stay for a minimum of 30 mins. You can't just go in and get a 1/2lb of weed and walk out again.

Its a very very handy system. Here in BCN technically you have to be a resident and show your NIE card to join, go through a 14 day waiting period and you can't take the weed outside, but depending on the club and how discreet they are all that is very flexible. There's reps rounding tourists up and bringing them in pretty blatantly. The cops have better things to do.
