We can’t wait for the past really and I swear to god I think we have good enough hurlers now to win ( when it’s starting again)
Don’t forget that team 89 lost to Waterford and Tipp hammered them.
I never ever rule out a Cork team in any era. And I don’t now either.
Rebels Abu we will be back soon and very soon 💪
I agree with you but I love to look back on games from years ago. Those lads and Fenton,Tony Sullivan would get on any team of any era
Hope ye are all safe and sound

I enjoyed that game yesterday, but more than anything it clearly showed how much the game has changed.
There was more pulling on the ball on the ground in that game than you would see now in a full season from all counties combined.

I would love us to become leaders in the game again, I would love to see us use the ground ball more, speed up the game and use the pace of our forwards.

Not sure I agree with you there 68.

I think the likes of O Sullivan would be outmuscled in todays game and would not have the pace or strength.
It reminds me a bit of Paidi O Sullivan, all the skill and intelligence in the world but not the pace or workrate for todays game.

I don't think the game today is better for it.

Waterford had some team back then. If they had goalkeeper and full back line they might have won an all ireland
