Sorry if this was posted already but it looks like we are getting an events centre after all ( think Noel C Duggan) in Curraheen. A joint venture between UCC and the Munster Agricultural Society.

Didn't think BAM were involved in that proposal? In fairness there are 5 BAM tower cranes in Cork, all privately funded projects with BAM involved in the proposals/funding.

It is demolished but they are waiting on a pre let agreement before starting construction.

Crows Nest has been pushed back to September, they won't make the stated 2020 college year opening date now. The other massive Carrigrohane Road Student Apartment development might start before the end of the year too, I suppose there is always a risk since the developers have not been active in Ireland before. Could see 5 or 6 cranes on that side of the city by the middle of next year.

Camden Quay want pre lets but not even JCD or OCP are getting them, nevermind Stone Work Properties Ltd... I doubt that it will ever be built. I am very interested in The Prism, we've had three years of massive talk from the Kerry lads and now we finally get to see if they'll actually do something, no letting agents on their website which is a very bad first sign Also huge planning application coming for Carey's Tools, probably before the end of the year and unlike the Mahon Tower, JCD will actually build it. OCP will try for something similar at their Anderson Quay site if they ever manage to get out of the Navigation Square project with the thing mostly let.
