Thursday August 16th at Wax

Stephen Manning [Space Camp]
Lisa Kenny [Space Camp]
Dan Power [Electric City]

Admission: e6 / Free with flyer before 12.

Making a guest appearance at EC this week are two of the residents and main movers behind one of our favourite clubs, Space Camp. Stephen Manning & Lisa Kenny will be taking over the controls at Wax for some disco, house and cosmic vibes. Strangely enough, after almost 5 years, Lisa Kenny will be the first female Irish DJ to play the club and she'll be following in the international footsteps of Ellen Allien, Magda & Misstress Somebody. Space Camp began life in Rogue and had a series of underground heroes playing in the basement such as Bill Brewster, Morgan Geist, Todd Terje & Prins Tomas. Now involved with running the UltraShock parties in venues across the city, the Space Camp crew continue to lift off. Bookmark the website at www.spacecamp.ie with a link to their excellent blog.

First up this week is EC resident Ding Dong Dan Power. Recently Dan has spent more time in the Cusack stand roaring Waterford to a McCarty Cup semi final exit than he has in the club. So except re-edits of The Silvery Sands of Tramore and Waterford Boys by All Stars Theo, Omar and Kenny as the EC Bainisteoir keeps it deep from the throw-in.

Stephen Manning Chart:

Cosmic Sandwich - Man in a box (patrick chardonnet mix)
Redshape - Coffee + Cigarettes
Laura Brannigan - Self Control (space camp edit)
Marco Resman - Gouache
Stephen Bodzin - Pendulum
Aroy - Kiss
Koto - Visitors
Shonky - Olympia
Kano - She's a star
Shlomi Aber - Freakside
Jan Hammer - Oh yeah

Mail back for guest list!
