Interesting bit of news this morning to hear of the 30 or so Irish farmers who stormed a Tesco managers meeting to complain about Tesco now stocking English potatoes instead of Irish potatoes. Tesco have been abusing their position vis-s-vis Irish suppliers over the last number of years so I'm glad these farmers have had the liathroidi to stand up and take on Tesco. If Tesco continue to do what they're doing they will eventually close all small shops, a large number of big ones cthereby creating a monopoly.
Once they have some form of monopoly the obvious thing for them to do is to increase the prices and then we're all screwed.
