There was a moment 10 minutes in that summed up Roeders influence on things as a manager. Sibierski went down after an accidental collision and a few of the newcastle defenders, who had been shocking since the start, came over to the line to take on some water. He tried to explain something to one of the young lads, who totally blanked him and turned away while Roeder was still talking to him. I don't think he commands much respect with the players there and performances like that are what you get as a result.
