SURVIVING SANTA PONSA
BY FRANK TWOMEY AND PAKIE O’CALLAGHAN
DIRECTED BY MICHAEL TWOMEY
MARCH 19 – 24, 2007
EVERYMAN PALACE THEATRE
The uproariously funny sequel to last years smash hit, SANTA PONSA OR BUST, sees the return of Frank Twomey and Pakie O’ Callaghan to the Everyman Palace Theatre performing their unique brand of comedy in SURVIVING SANTA PONSA.
Last time we saw the Cork couples, Carmel and Noreen were at the airport, ready to head back to Cork in possession of two million euro, while Finbarr and John had ended up considerably worse off, with a six month jail stint in Spain! SURVIVING SANTA PONSA picks up the story at this stage, charting the ostentatious lifestyles of new millionaires Carmel and Noreen, who are suddenly the talk of Brown Thomas, not to mention in the sights of villain Hans Von Snicht … will there be any money left by the time Finbarr and John get out?
The latest episode, with Frank Twomey and Pakie O’ Callaghan performing all the characters, follows the fortunes of the hapless Cork couples from Benalmedena Prison to Cork’s North side and back again!
