Director
Hailing from th Dublin village of Malahide, Director are Michael Moloney (Vocals/Guitars), Eoin Aherne (Guitars), Shea Lawlor (Drums) and Rowan Averill (Bass Guitar).
The band make meticulously crafted pop brimming with pointed hooks and astute instrumentation that simmers to perfection under the vocals of songwriter Moloney. The band take their musical cues from their early encounters with the songwriting of The Beatles, Steely Dan and Randy Newman, Director cite Beck, Grandaddy, Muse and The Strokes as some of their modern day influences.
Director's music is pop simplicity at it's best, boistrous energy mixed with melodic sensability.
