Can we just leave those nights "empty"?

Van Morrison announced by Aikens for an outdoor gig in Belfast, in June, a likely contender for the Marquee i’d say.

Pretty dismal alright. Probanly the first time since it started, that i have zero interest in it.

MCD at Musgrave Park, must be a factor, those 6 gigs there, have soaked up a lot of punters, must be up to12,000 a night there, thats up to 72,000 tickets, a big chunk taken out of the limited Cork market, making it more difficult for Aikens to attract and sell additional acts.

Going to Lauryn Hill ( Herself likes her),

Hozier, George Ezra, the other ones, meh.

The quality of act at the marquee is terrible this year though.
Like yourself its the first year where Id look at it and just say Nah.

Are the Musgrave Park gigs sold out or selling out? There seems to be an ad for the Gallagher gig every 2 minutes on the radio.

dunno

surprised there still seems to be tix available for Hill, thought it would sell out pretty quickly .... though her rep for lateness on stage and truncated gigs might turn a lot of folk off
