I wonder how will it really be treated in Kerry.
It will be one big constituency for the next election and perhaps anyone from any area other than the catchment of this school won't give a shit and may in fact not vote for him as he will only look after his own parish.
But while it is a good gesture I'd say it has more to do with the new Kerry constituency.
