well rory to be honest. he was in central time zone a week now, he has a watch, he has phone and plus a time sheet that was given out to the team. he maybe only 23, but he's practically a veteran of the game at this stage, so he should have been paying more attention.

No, I'm not but let's have a little balance too.

To be clear - I criticised Olly on his comments re Harrington - his picks were a no brainer. Harrington didn't qualify for the Fedex finals and putting was key at Medinah but he (Olly) knows that he should have said less.

I would have played Poults and Donald in every game on the basis that they hole pressure putts and by Saturday mid evening at 10 - 4, we needed a miracle.

We got it with Poulter (and Rory) finishing with 6 straight birdies.

I also felt that telling Kaymer we needed his point at all costs was piling the pressure on Kaymer - he was obviously trying to win & didn't need that additional pressure OK it didn't cause Kaymer to crack but not good management IMO.

Olly also showed the pressure he was under - in any sport, a manager has to exude an air of confidence - Monty and others always looked 100% confident - maybe others disagree but that's how I saw it.

As regards the near tee time fuck-up - It was probably Rory's fault especially if he got the tee times in writing ( I know G Mac got them) I don't know if he did. Maybe there's no fault on Olly on this one but if it had gone wrong, then the organisation/communication would have been questioned.

It's clear that Olly was a very popular captain and that he inspired the team on Sat Evening so I have to concede that he was a very good captain, maybe the best ever - but it's a very fine line - Davis Love will ship some criticism over his picks but it all came down to a state trooper - Ryder Cop - I'm saying that Olly delivered - all credit to him but he also made a few mistakes but got the breaks when he needed them.

Fair play barry.
As climb downs go, that was pretty smooth.

Well, when I saw that Sunbabe was getting pissed off - I realised it was time to bite the bullet.

Zero chance - get your money on USA.
Rory must have cost you alot of money with his Ryder Cup display. He knows when to raise his game and he sure as hell doesn't care about some insignificant Turkish pitch and putt match.

Get over it and stop stalking the lad!
