In my Oilfield days we had regular medicals, the oddest perhaps if we needed a Visa to work in certain countries Brazil and Russia spring to mind in my case which included an Aids Test STD's, apparently they didn't tell anyone if they had Aids they just never got a Visa! Consigned to Africa....

Something to be said for NHS, pretty regular 'Well Man' clinics, screening for bowel cancer et al there for the asking, try telling some men that.

I’d suggest that all males aged over 50 are fully grown.

He said that all was fine but didn't give a specific figure.

My cholesterol was bang on too, didn’t have any sense at all that something could be wrong but you never know I suppose

Anyway, it’s as you were

I would take it as an indication that all is well but of course it's not definitive, if anything it's encouraging me to take even more exercise and to walk to work some days instead of always taking the car.

I cycle about 100km a week which isn’t a lot as such but enough to keep things ticking over. I also play soccer every Monday night in a really competitive match which is a good blast. Would like to get some more in but with kids and work that’s about all that fits in for now.

Once I can get a chance I’ll be back knocking out a few kms lane swimming, great for general fitness

Great news....Well done.Eat right and exercise regularly and you'll be flying it.Go once a year at this time and your file will be updated and your GP will do whatever tests are required according to your age.....Well done.
