Nerves picking up now. Final is on imminently. Can't wait to hear the comments from Corky and Price on the Beeb.. Top class, unmissable Sunday afternoon entertainment. Oldham/Liverpool will suffer big time in the ratings because of this!

Stewart Anderson must surely have played himself into contention for the next Premier League Bowls tournament with his performances this week.

It should be some battle between himself and the legendary Paul Foster this afternoon.

Well what a final, going right down to the wire with only one shot between them at the end. Stewart Anderson upset the odds to win his first world title and what a deserving winner he was.

Amazing scenes at Potters. I think everyone was in tears at the end, I know I certainly was. It'll be some case of cold turkey for us bowls fans this week.

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines can be well pleased with their sponsorship of the tournament, I'll definitely travel with if I'm going on a cruise in the near future.

Roll on 2014!
