A policeman fighting for his life is hardly "spin" now is it?
Probably for SF supporters I suppose! 😏
The Shinners seem to have a real problem with law and order.

Why is that?

Deflect and deny. It's the way of the establishment supporters it seems.

A united Ireland but a divided Spain.

What an absolute idiot.

Nobody fighting for their life? Or nobody reporting being injured in case they're subsequently arrested and thrown in jail by the Spanish central government.
Yerrah, he isn't really deflecting. His point is that you as a SF supporter have no respect for law and order. So from his point of view trying to argue that the actions of police are correct (i don't know if he is right or wrong because I am not there) when the opposing view is anti law and order in general.

I've a lot more respect for law and order than many within Fianna Fail Brad, as well you know

Lol now that is deflection, what has FF got to do with my post? You support a party that have murdered gardai and police officers. You support a party that allowed their public reps to collect a garda killer from prison.

You see there you go again. Sinn Fein haven't murdered gardai or police officers.

I support a party from which a member (admittedly a senior one) collected a garda killer from prison.

Desperate times called for desperate measures and in trying to bring armed republicans to walk away from the conflict certain unpalatable things were done. I certainly don't think it played well with the general public and would have lost a lot of votes but needs must I think.

Garda McCabe was killed a long time ago and many of the SF reps (and voters) today were mere children when that happened. I'm just wondering how long that will be used as a stick with which to beat SF?

And after a while one has to question the motive of those that wrongfully accuse Sinn Fein of being involved in it

No whataboutery to fall back on here as no other political party in the state could have done such reprehensible things.

"Desperate times called for desperate measures", fuck me, you are a walking talking example of why the Shinners will never be in government in this country.

And we are now into Soundy's historical trawl.

He takes issue with those that want to refer to recent events yet he has no problem going back 100 years to try to score a point.

I have met Maurice McCabe's sister, a lovely women.
Your lot are scum, pure scum.

"Desperate times called for desperate measures"....
