It's obvious Letterman didn't like Motorhead, it's not his scene and he's letting us know. I do enjoy Letterman, well at least I did 20 odd years ago.

Everyone covered (murdered) a Chuck Berry song at some stage in their career, an innovator he was.


Don't forget that both were born in the "Deep South" and that Elvis made "black music" respectable. Chuck Berry, being black, encountered far more difficulties in establishing himself than Elvis. That's why I made the comment rather than their two styles.

Ah, I see what ya mean now.

I'd really only have a passing interest in both those artists from an historical point of view tbphwy , I'd never actually set out to listen to their music.
