If they do the business tomorrow evening they'll be through to the group stages. Eight groups of five teams. Draw's on Friday I think.

Is that definite?? I thought there was another round before that. I'll be there anyways. Jaysus imagine it though. We could end up in a group with Ajax, Inter Milan, Everton and Monaco!!

You're quite right, I stand corrected. From the UEFA website...

Group stage
The format was changed, however, in 2004/05 when for the first time a group stage was introduced. Two qualifying rounds produce a first-round of 80 teams who play over two legs to find the 40 clubs that make up the group stage. The group stage comprises eight groups of five, with each club playing four times, twice at home and twice away. The winners, runners-up and third-placed clubs from each group advance to the last 32 where they are joined by the eight third-placed clubs from the UEFA Champions League. At this point, the traditional two-match knockout format is resumed, until the single-match final.

hopefully the crowd can get on the animal farms backs from the off..i'd love it if we beat those arogant fuckers. just love it...

City have to be positive and go for a goal...if they sit back and let DIF dictate the game then we'll lose.....hopefully Rico will go with a positive formation...
