Liverpool are in action once again this afternoon (4pm UK time) and the confirmed starting line-up is as follows:

LIVERPOOL: Reina, Paletta, Hyypia, Riise, Hobbs, Anderson, Zenden, Gonzalez, Pennant, Bellamy, Sissoko.

SUBS: Carson, Kromkamp, Gerrard, Carragher, Crouch, Traore.

Friendlies are a nonsense from a fans point of view, luckily for Liverpool who are 2-0 down. They're only useful so the players can sweat the gatt out of themselves after the hols in Marbella and so the new blood can learn to communicate with the others. The craziest thing about friendlies actually is people betting on them.

Nothing really bar 4 cruciate injuries to Gerrard, Alonso, Momo and Carragher

Christ, that must be some full on warm up routine for Gerrard and Carragher. Alonso must have just got sympathy pains from his couch.
