The new system is fantastic, with one major flaw, and that is it

They will then need to lose another 2 matches in relegation to actually get relegated.
And if they lose 4/5 games in a row, they deserve to get relegated

So you should only go down junior if your well off the standard required
Any team unlucky at end of this year should win their way up from last intermediate grade in 2020 if they think they’re that standard

Premier Intermediate in 2020 is third grade, lower intermediate will be fourth grade, Cloughduv are currently playing third grade so yes they would be relegated

They can and they will if they don't reach the quarter finals, it's ridiculous

Ya but being in the 4th grade in 2020 is totally different to being relegated from intermediate to junior.
If you look at it like that there will be about 20 plus teams relegated next year.
You’ll have about 8 teams in this years premier intermediate which is the second grade now who will still be intermediate next year .
Next year that will be third grade, so would you say those 8 teams are relegated?

Yes I would, they are currently playing 2nd grade, next year they will be playing 3rd grade

If we don't make a quarter final this year, we're down in a new lower intermediate. If we don't win that grade within 2 years we're down junior. All 12 teams who are in that lower intermediate in two years time will be relegated. If we don't make a quarter final and are in this lower intermediate then the 2019 and 2020 junior champions will leapfrog us into the middle intermediate division, level 4.The new level 5 is only a temporary thing for 2 years. It's very fucking harsh on us especially

Realistically though if you’re good enough you’ll be there. Simple as that

So basically you think everyone outside those first 12 senior teams are being relegated for 2020?
I definitely don’t get your logic on this one

7 senior clubs are being relegated , 12 premier intermediate clubs will be dropping a grade even though it will still be called premier intermediate. If you can't see the logic in that I can't help you

This is true except if say Charleville lose to Erin's Own and draw and lose to the losers of the Glen and Midleton in the back door is that fair on Charleville being relegated? I think not
