Well people say UPC is good which own them, ive had people say that they werent getting the speeds they claimed, so be wide of that. Do the speedtests regularly.

Virtual Lab said he had to contact them and threaten to not pay because he was getting slow speeds at the start, as is his friend, but they copped on after that.

It was also said that leaving the modem on constantly bettered your chances of getting the full speed.

I think I'll give them hell from the start, i.e. tell them if I don't get the speeds they're promising, I won't bat an eyelid in cancelling by direct debit, and the cunts can sue me.

I'm slightly concerned about the 11.1% throttling of torrents, but at either €30 for 10mpbs or €40 for 20mbps against Smart's €50 for c. 5/6mbps, this is surely a minor consideration, no?

How about his succint literary critique of messrs Gerrard/Beckham/Lampard/Rooney/Cole etc's post World Cup 2006 diaries?

"I played shit- here's my book"

Genius.

That was pretty cool.

Also the fact that Fat Fwank walked away from the table when he sat down at an England camp.

It's all gone rapidly downhill since then.
