Just so we understand things here the never elected Maria Cahill, former National Secretary of an anti-Good Friday Agreement party is not responsible for and shouldn't be "besmirched" with her actions and those of her grand-uncle; but current elected Lord Mayor of Belfast should be "besmirched" by the actions of his uncle?

I must say I find that set of "standards" a bit weird but there you go.

Whatabout, whatabout , look over there.

Tell us more about her boyfriend.

You have a long history here of smearing Mairia Cahill because she dared to tell the truth about the Shinners and their kangaroo courts for rape victims.

Don't tell us about standards m8, yours are in the gutter.

It's you're the one indulging in the Whatabout stuff dear, but of course you're so blinkered you don't even see that.

Tell you what, have another look at the thread title "Brit General Election 2019" and ask yourself which of the aforementioned people, or even their relations (and again I didn't introduce their relations to this either) is actually running in the "Brit General Election 2019"

The clue is in the name, but of course you're up to your usual bollixology.

Are you denying that you claimed her abuser was in fact her boyfriend?

Fiona Bruce on Question Time last night, shut down an audience member who said the leave campaign had broken the law. Bruce has not hidden her pro Brexit stance since taking over the chair. But she shut down comments herself arguing with the audience member. BBC getting flack this morning over its "objectivity". The editorial line across the BBC has become more and more pro Brexit in the last year.

I have to say that while I can see it more now you've mentioend it, I hadn't considered it before...

Well, she should get total flack over it, if her job is to be objective...

A long time ago on a different thread and also that I corrected and apologised for my mistake on it once I'd been informed of the actual details.

Now about Pat Finnucane running in the upcoming Brit General Election 2019.....
